Taking a Creative, Personalised Approach
Are you struggling to cope with a recent painful loss? Do you need to see a specialist in gender, sexuality, or identity? If so, I am here to help.
I am a Gestalt therapist specialising in grief and loss in Brighton and online, along with helping members of the LGBTQIA community deal with a range of issues such as identity struggles, abuse, depression, and anxiety. My approach does not involve delving into your past, but rather working with you in a collaborative, creative way to process and better understand the present-day issues you are facing, ahead of formulating personalised ways to move into a better headspace. My sessions are available over Zoom, at my private practice, or even outdoors if preferred, and I take great care to give you an environment where you feel safe and listened to at all times.

What is Gestalt Therapy?
Gestalt therapy is a holistic, creative form of psychotherapy that – in contrast with conventional psychodynamic approaches – helps people focus on their immediate thoughts, feelings and behaviours in the present-day, rather than past experience, in order to better understand how they relate to themselves and others. The technique is based in the fact that people’s emotions are inextricably linked to their environment. By working with someone in an empathetic, personalised way, I look to build a close understanding of their everyday thoughts and emotions with a view towards helping them strive towards growth and balance.
How Can Gestalt Therapy Help Me?
As a Gestalt therapist specialising in grief and loss in Brighton and online, I take a direct, highly interactive approach to helping you become more self-aware and trust in your feelings and experiences in the here and now. This improved awareness helps you find a new perspective, see the bigger picture, and start to make meaningful changes in your life. And we will do it in a way that suits you. Gestalt therapy is a collaborative, hands-on approach, so we will engage in activities such as gardening, creating things, exploring poetry and philosophy, or anything else that captures your imagination and allows you to feel more connected to your thoughts in the present moment.
